Mediation is a procedure in which the parties discuss their disputes with the assistance of a trained, impartial third person, who assists them in reaching a settlement. It is an informal meeting among the parties.

A mediator acts as a neutral third party and facilitates rather than directs the process.

Being a mediator I use a wide variety of techniques, human dynamics skills and powers of effective listening, articulation and restatement to guide the process in a constructive direction and to help the parties find their optimal solution.
